Meet Shawna

Ever since I found my mom’s camera in her closet in junior high, I’ve been captivated by capturing the beauty of God’s creation…specifically His most prized possession….the people He has created in His own image. My passion is to encourage women to see themselves the way our Heavenly Father created them…beautiful, empowering, confident, sexy, vulnerable, lovely, strong, capable. I love to help women change their perspective about themselves.

A few things you might not know about me…

I’ve been married to the most amazing and supportive man for the last 23 years and am a homeschooling mamma to four of the most beautiful children. Besides Jesus, they are my everything!

I LOVE coffee! Which is funny because when I met my husband, I didn’t even know what a latte’ was! LOL! But I wish it was physically possible to drink coffee all day. I love the taste, the smell, the emotional experience when I drink it!

I love to feed people and am always baking something yummy! Which can be a problem because I LOVE food, but I’m not really a foodie either. I guess I just don’t like to be hungry.

I can’t NOT talk without my hands flailing everywhere which can be a problem while holding a camera!….Like, I literally stop talking in the middle of a sentence if I can’t use my hands to express what I’m trying to say! I end almost every sentence with an exclamation so that you can feel how excited I am through text! Ha! I guess you could say I’m a tad expressive!

I love to travel and I have a HUGE bucket list of all the places around the world I would love to explore! Our family loves to be outside and explore nature. Camping is our favorite hobby!

Health and fitness is another passion of mine. I am always learning about a new workout program or the latest research on how to be a healthier version of myself.

I can be so easy going that if there is a decision to be made with more than one person, I literally don’t have an opinion. I think it’s more important to me that everyone else is happy. Maybe it was because I was the oldest of five kids…I just wanted everyone to get along! LOL!
